The founders of our church, which began in 1884, lived in a time much simpler than our own.   Few of them could have imagined our high-tech world of internet service, cell phones, and space travel.  But though much has changed since those early days, one thing has always remained the same: the gospel of Christ, who came into the world so that we could have a relationship with the Father through Him.

 
Our purpose is clear: to make fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.  To accomplish this, we provide Bible study classes for all ages, youth ministry, and a variety of children’s activities throughout the year.  We also have an active senior adult ministry, which meets monthly.

 
We are firmly committed to the idea that the Bible is God’s Word to man, and that it is “useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 

 
We are also active in world missions, both at home and abroad.  In recent years members from our church have ministered in Peru, Jamaica, Ecuador, Mexico, and Sri Lanka, as well as several locations within the United States.
